 Teacher absent. 

 On Wednesday we read a new poem and did a quick assignment. We wrote an assignment on our dreams and goals. Going through the specifics of how to achieve my goal was really enjoyable. I will say I did get very frustrated with the girls sitting in front of me but overall it was an enjoyable class. 

 Today we read a poem by Langston Hughes. I absolutely loved reading this poem. I didn’t feel too comfortable sharing my political opinions about America in class but I found this poem to be beautifully written. I strongly agree with his message and it definitely still applies today. 

 Today I had to leave class and grab my lunch. I wasn’t able to stay in class but our assignment was to finish the sorrow of war. I am really excited to read through the rest of this book and see how it ends!

 Today i’m class we did a common lit assignment. I honestly just found this assignment to be busy work but i’m thankful that class was easy today. School has been incredibly draining for me recently and it’s nice to get a break every now and then. 

 Today I really enjoyed class. We got a break with the fire drill which was lovely. I really liked listening to the music that my class mates chose for their project. One guy played a lot of the Cure and The Smiths which was a wonderful start to the day. 

 Today we went through project presentations. This honestly made me anxious because I haven’t gotten much of a chance to complete mine. I have had a lot of issues at home and have had to be there for my mom and my grandmother. Completing assignments has been difficult because of this and having a dead line has proven to be difficult.
