 I was Absent on Friday the 22. 

 Today we presented our project. I really enjoyed researching about Indian culture and learning new things about it. The presentation went well which was very appreciated. I normally get anxious about presenting but i’m starting to improve in that area. 

 In the counselors office. 

 In Class on Monday was presentation day. I was very uncomfortable with a conversation that took place. There was a question regarding gender rolls and the conversation became very sexist. This was very offensive to many students and made me very uncomfortable and irritated.

 On Wednesday we took a test covering all the Blake poems. I was concerned about this test due to how many questions there were. It hard for me to keep attention sometimes but i think i did really well. It was very helpful to have the poems to read when answering the questions as well. 

 On Tuesday we read the last poem by Blake. I really enjoyed analyzing this poem. It was a harsh social commentary on child labor and religious false justification. I loved the imagery in this poem and breaking down its meanings.

 Todays class was very uncomfortable for me. I am not Christian and i grew up in a forcibly Christian house hold. That experience was very difficult for me and going through Christian writings in class was triggering. I don’t see why we’re discussing in depth Christian beliefs when we could be learning about cultures we don’t know much about. It feels very forceful.
